children's hospice south west, fundraising, cheque presentation

During the 2024 festive period we raised £1,162.89 for Children’s Hospice South West through money donated by customers during November and December (2024). Visitors to our Christmas tree farm made donations to the organisation through collection tins, a contactless donation terminal or when they visited Father Christmas. The amount also included a generation donation from Irie 7 Mobile Coffee Shop who were at the farm during the festive season selling delicious refreshments.

A huge ‘thank you’

We’re over the moon with the amount collected for CHSW at the end of last year. Without our customers’ ongoing support, this would not have been possible. A huge ‘thank you’ to each and every one of you.

CHSW

CHSW is currently the only provider of specialist hospice care for children in the region. It offers much needed support for youngsters with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition and their families at its three hospices: Charlton Farm in North Somerset, Little Bridge House in North Devon and Little Harbour in Cornwall.

Debbie Birtwisle, Area Fundraiser for CHSW said:

“From us all at Children’s Hospice South West, we can’t thank Langford Lakes enough for continuing to support us year on year, it’s fantastic to develop such a strong working relationship together. This incredible amount of money will go directly towards the care provided at Little Bridge House, Wellington’s local Children’s Hospice in Barnstaple, where we care for children with life-limited conditions and their whole family. Thank you, Langford Lakes, for allowing us to continuing making the most of short and precious lives.”
