Then why not sign up for one of our Christmas Decorations Buyer and Wreath Maker’s Troodles Designs socially distanced workshops at Nynehead Village Hall near Wellington on July 24, and August 7, 10am-4pm.

You could even make the cushions and pop them away for Christmas gifts.

Further Christmas specific workshops hosted by Trudy will also take place on September 18 and 19 at Nynehead Village Hall from 10am until 4pm.

Trudy, who will host the sessions, says: “People who come along to my workshops will learn all they need to know about making a luxurious appliqué cushion and fun Christmas decorations. I will also be hosting further workshops in September to make fun Christmas decorations too.

“We will be taking some inspiration from some of the lovely animals we see here at Langford Lakes Farm. The workshop on August 7 will be about the bees, and on July 24, I will also be featuring the elephant, one of my favourite animals but not so abundant in our part of the world!

“During the Christmas workshops you will be able to make tree skirts, Christmas crackers and table runners, which will be perfect for your home this festive season.”

We’re also asking everyone to arrive 15 minutes before the workshop start time, so everyone can get settled in. As per current restrictions tables will be socially distanced, windows and doors will be opened to allow air flow and masks will need to be worn indoors and at events in our retail areas. If changes in guidelines occur before the events take place, we will let you know.

It is recommended that everyone taking part in a workshop brings their own packed lunch and drinks.

These hands-on sessions, which are held in a good-sized and airy space, are for anyone looking to learn a new skill that can be improved upon every year. The workshops will cost £40 per person and there are only 12 places available per workshop.
