Would you like to dress your front door with a handmade foliage wreath? Come and learn how to make one with us this December (2021).

We’re holding festive wreath making workshops in the evenings on December 6,7,8 and 9.

Our expert wreath-maker, Trudy Hendy, who will host the sessions says: “People who come along to my workshops will learn all they need to know about making a luxurious Christmas door wreath with natural materials.

“I will provide a range of foliage and natural decorations for people to use and will teach attendees how to create something beautiful using a step-by-step process. To make the homemade wreaths extra special, we will also offer LED battery lights to add some sparkle to our creations.

“Attendees will also be able to personalise their designs to their own tastes and take their finished wreath home with them to display with pride on their front door during the festive season.

“We will provide all the materials needed and, to make the event even more festive, we will be serving mulled wine or tea or coffee along with mince pies. Christmas carols will be playing in the background too. The workshops look set to be both fun and informative and I hope people venture out and sign up.”

Trudy will be teaching the Christmas wreath making workshops on Monday, December 6, Tuesday, December 7, Wednesday, December 8 and Thursday December 9 from 6.30pm until 8.30pm.

We suggest all attendees bring with them some gardening gloves, secateurs and a warm coat. Please also bring a scarf if you feel the cold. Our heating will be on, but we don’t want anyone feeling chilly.

We’re also asking everyone to arrive 30 minutes before the workshop start time, so everyone can get settled in with a drink.

The workshops will cost £35 per person and there are only 10 places per workshop. Anyone wishing to attend will need to book and pay in advance by calling us on 01823 400476.

These hands-on sessions, which are held in a good-sized, airy space, are for anyone looking to learn a new skill that can be improved upon every year.
