We have recently raised £2,223.46 for Children’s Hospice South West and The Beacon Centre through money donated by customers during November and December (2022).

Over the moon with the amount raised

We’re over the moon that, with the help of our customers, we managed to collect £1,025.74 for CHSW at the end of last year and £1,197.72 for The Beacon Centre. These are fantastic amounts of money, especially in the current circumstances.

The £1,025.74 was raised for CHSW through buckets and collection tins on site throughout the two months, including during our late-night open evenings. IRIE 7 coffee also donated towards the total through proceeds from delicious treats they sold. The £1,197.72 collected for The Beacon Centre was done so through collection tins in the Crafts at Christmas shop.

A huge ‘thank you’

Without our customers’ ongoing support, this would not have been possible. A huge ‘thank you’ to each and every one of you. We’re elated to have collected so much money in 2022.

CHSW

CHSW is currently the only provider of specialist hospice care for children in the region. It offers much needed support for youngsters with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition and their families at its three hospices: Charlton Farm in North Somerset, Little Bridge House in North Devon and Little Harbour in Cornwall.

The Beacon Centre

The Beacon Centre at Musgrove Park Hospital treats patients with radiotherapy and chemotherapy and helps manage the side effects of these treatments.

“Thank you so much to the Crafts@Christmas shop for the amazing donation received. The generosity shown is heart-warming and the donation will truly change the lives of many. Thanks to incredible donations to The Beacon Centre, we have been able to send staff on the most up-to-date training courses, purchase the Self Check in Kiosks you see in the Centre and support the design of printing of a Cancer Manual.”
