- Had a fantasic day on the match lake today, myself taking 6 Carp to 5lb 4oz and a good tench plus bits inc. a nice Rudd, mainly on the luncheon meat. The picture attached is of my Dad, Dave Staple, with one of the best fish he's had for many years, a 3lb 3oz carp that had a slight ghostie look about it. Didn't half put a bend in his match rod! He also lost one of a similar size.

- Me and my fiancee had a brillant afternoons fishing last saterday. We caught 18 fish between us, not bad for a beginner and someone who hasn't been fishing for 4 years. Here is the biggest carp we caught.

- My first time fishing on the Syndicate Lake went down well. Within an hour my alarm went and I hooked in to a stunning carp. I didn't get chance to weigh it, but im sure it was 14+.

- It was a very cold day and I was fishin on the bite alarm, I didnt have any luck for a couple of hours and then my bite alarm started screaming and I pulled in a 8lb carp.

- I had a day on the syndicate lake on the bank holiday Monday. I had a good day resulting in seven fish including 2 doubles the biggest being 17lb 4oz. I baited the pads all day and put a rod on it at 6 o clock and at 7.00 I had a 17lb 4 oz mirror on the bank, happy days.

- We had a great day out fishing having 5 carp between myself and my mate Harry Haseley, his largest was around 8lb however I had a sizeable 16lb carp, good days.

- It was a wet day, but that didn't stop the fish coming. Between 3 of us we caught 8 fish. One over 8lb. I caught my 'PB' 6lb 12oz on a singal 8mm pellet and it was only my second time fishing!

- While on a weekend break to Somerset I decided to squeeze in a days fishing (family outing) on the Syndicate Lake which resulted in a catch of 7 carp, including 3 doubles to 16lb 3oz (pictured).

- It was a wet day and i was fishing on float with bread about 1 foot deep and i pulled out this common carp about 10 and a half pound. Along With 1 Mirror Carp and 5 Common Carp.

- One of two Perch caught on the 9th May 2007 on a hot day. The Fish where caught on sweetcorn and were part of a bag of 50lbs+ of fish, including carp, roach, rudd and perch and skimmers. This Perch weighed 2lb 4oz.

- Me and my mate Steve went for weekends fishing on Syndicate Lake. I had 3 Carp to 12lbs, then the next day got this cracking 15lb Mirror Carp as well as two other 12lb'ers.

- Daniel Burton aged 10 caught 2 fine carp, one weighing 13 pounds 4 ounces (photo) and one eight pounds in the carp lake using floating bread flake. Many thanks to Mr and Mrs Philip Hutchings for their kindness and help to Daniel who caught eight carp in one day ranging from four to eight pounds following their help and advice.

- A cold wet day, but still a very productive day on the mixed lake, roughly 20-30lb of fish lots of roach and skimmers, bream to 2lb, two carp of 3lb and a surprise package of 4 perch between 1lb 6oz - 2lb 8oz. All fish caught on 5lb line, waggler slightly over depth with maggots and corn hookbait with small amounts of groundbait. Really cracking days fishing made up for bad weather.

"My friend went to the toilet and asked me to look after his rod I saw the tip move so I struck it I was thinking how big it was when we had it on the unhooking mat and weigh it the weight of the fish was 6lbs I caught it out of the mixed lake."

- Two days holiday during the week paid off for Simon as he netted 24 carp in total from the Carp & Syndicate Lake. The first day fishing the carp lake, just to get his hand in totalled 10 carp to 5lb 8oz. The second day on the syndicate lake proved more successful with 14 carp including 6 doubles to 11lb 8oz.

- Ollie caught this beautiful Tench on the Mixed Lake. The successful feeder tactics combined with a worm as hook bait did the trick, this was presented on a size 10 barbless hook and 5lb line. “It was a strong fish and fought for 10 mins” Ollie said.

- Philip made a good start to his fishing year on a rather cold day in March when he caught this 11lb 8oz Mirror. This fish was the larger of the two carp caught by Philip during his day on the Syndicate Lake.
