Christmas Trees - Cut...
Nordman Fir
(Abies nordmanniana) - From 3 to 25 feet.
We first started growing this ‘needlefast’ variety back in 1993 and now have over 40,000 trees in the ground, with plans to plant a further 4,000 planted each year. This variety of tree originates from the ‘Caucasian Mountain range, on the Georgia / Turkey border and is increasing in popularity in the UK. It is not an easy tree to grow and can be quite fussy in the conditions it requires for good growth.
Fraser Fir
(Abies fraseri) - From 3 to 8 feet.
This ‘needlefast’ variety is relatively new to British fields and woodland, but its bushy habit and excellent fragrance is making it increasingly popular. It originates from the southern Appalachian Mountains, on the east coast of the USA and we now have over 8,000 of this variety in the ground, with 500 being planted each year.

Christmas Trees - Potted...
Nordman Fir
From 2 to 3 feet.
All trees sold in pots are grown on the farm and approximately 6 - 7 years old and are then dug and potted as we require them. We feel this is the best way to successfully transplant the Nordman as they have a relatively compact root system at this age, anything larger than this we have found in the past to be less successful.
