We’re hosting seven late-night open evenings

November 9, 2017

We’ll be holding the late-night evenings on December 1, 6, 7, 8, 13, 14 and 15 with musical entertainment in aid of our Charity of the Year, Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW).

With less than 90 days until Christmas, we are getting set to open. We’ll be open every day until Saturday, December 23.

Due to the popularity of our late-night open evenings in 2016 and, to fit around people’s busy festive schedules, we have decided to host seven late-night open evenings this December.

We will be open until 8pm on December 1, 6, 7, 8, 13, 14 and 15. We will also have some Christmassy musical entertainment for anyone who decides to visit us on these nights. Performers include Wivey Community Wind Band, Wivey Community Choir, Absolute Pitch, HOPE choir and solo singers Elizabeth Rhodes and Allana Chloe.

We’re hoping to collect as much money as possible on the evenings for CHSW. We will be offering mince pies and teas and coffees for a donation to the charity. The Wellington Friends Group of CHSW will be helping us with this. Last year we managed to raise £2,686 for the organisation throughout December.

CHSW is currently the only provider of specialist hospice care for children in the region. It offers much needed support for youngsters with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition and their families at its three hospices: Charlton Farm in North Somerset, Little Bridge House in North Devon and Little Harbour in Cornwall.

Langford Lakes Christmas Tree Farm will be open every day from Friday, November 17 at 10am until Saturday, December 23.
